What is UP Scholarship OTR?
OTR stands for One-Time Registration. It is the first and most important step in applying to the UP Scholarship scheme.
Once you complete your OTR registration, your basic details will be saved on the UP scholarship portal, so you won’t have to fill them in again every year. This will save time and avoid mistakes.
Who Can Apply for OTR?
Students study in Class 9 to 12.
Students pursuing Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Diploma courses.
Permanent residents of Uttar Pradesh.
Belong to SC / ST / OBC / Minority / General category (as per scheme eligibility)
Step-by-Step Process for UP Scholarship OTR Registration
Step 1 – Visit the Official Website Click on OTR option
Step 2- Verify Your Mobile Number
(i) Select Your Category (ii) Enter Mobile Number (iii) Fill Captcha Click on Generate OTP
Step 3- Aadhar E-KYC
(i) Enter Your Aadhar Number (Fill Captcha) Submit
Step 4- Final OTR
(i) Fill Father’s Name (ii) Fill Mother’s Name (iii) E-mail (iv) Enter Captcha Code And Submit
Print Your OTR Slip
- After successful submission, download and print the OTR Registration Slip.
- Keep it safe — you will need it while filling the scholarship application form.
