Eligibility Criteria of Assistant Loco Pilot Recruitment:
Applicants must fulfill all the required eligibility criteria for RRB by the closing date of the application submission.
Nationality/Citizenship: A candidate must be either:
- (i) a citizen of India, or
- (ii) a citizen of Nepal, or
- (iii) a subject of Bhutan, or
- (iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before 01.01.1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India,

Salary And Benefits
After selection, Assistant Loco Pilots receive a basic pay of initial pay of ₹19,900 under Pay Level 2 of the 7th CPC. With allowance, the total monthly salary can range from ₹30,000 to ₹35,000 (approx.).

Selection Process:
The selection process is going to the following five stages.
First Stage CBT-1: CBT-1 is a computer-based test that will only be held as an exam for shortlisting eligible candidates for the next round of CBT-2 based on their normalized marks and merit.

Second Stage CBT-2: After clearing CBT-1 shortlisted candidates, the RRB invite for the CBT-2 exam for CBT-2 should be done as per their normalized marks and merit in CBT-1. CBT-2 will be divided into two parts, Part-A and Part-B.

Third Stage Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT): Candidates after clearing CBT-2 Part A and qualifying Part B, will be shortlisted for the CBAT (Computer-Based Aptitude Test) on the basis of their marks in Part-A of CBT-2 among the candidates.
Document Verification (DV): After successfully clearing all stages of the exam, candidates will be shortlisted for Document Verification based on their marks and merit in Part-A of CBT-2, qualifying status in Part-B, and performance in the CBAT. The number of candidates invited for verification will be based on the total number of available vacancies.
Medical Examination: Candidates must pass every test of medical test according to RRB Standard physically fit in every respect.
